We are honored to have the Medicine Bear Drum as one of our drums at Mother Earths Creations. This is a Traditional Drum with high energy and sound! Join us at our Powwows and say hi to Pat. Come join us in dance and song and see for yourself just how much energy they have. Once you get to hear their music and meet them in person, were sure that you will love them as much as we do.
Mother Earths Creations has three family drums and we are honored to have Sacred Spirits Drum as one of our most recent heartbeats under the arbor. Click on the heading or there picture to check them out at there web site and see where else they will be playing.
David Searching Owl and Janet Quiet Dove Murphy-DeBlois has been with Mother Earth's Creation's since we opened the grounds in 2003. They have honored us with there musical talent during the powwows and David has always been there to help us out with our sound system. Not because of what they do for the grounds, but because of who they are---we are so proud of them and honored to call them family. Click on the picture or the heading above in blue to check out there site.
Ken & Deb have been part of Mother Earths Creation since we began the Powwow grounds. They started out vending, Deb with her painted feathers and Ken with his flutes. Today they continue the circuit telling there stories and do a fine job of that. When you go to the different powwows, stop in and say hi to them.
Jonny Lipford Check out his web site for some really nice flute music. There's samples and I'm sure you will enjoy his CD's.
We can attest that Dail is one fine flute player!! She has played at our gatherings and we wish nothing but the best for Dail. Check out her site for much more information........
The following is a quote from her web site:
"I've been playing Native American Flutes for many years. I have recorded and produced 5 CD's to date on my Free Spirit Music label. All compositions are by me and my music is a blend of traditional Native American style with a mellow jazz and blues component. I have been performing at many pow-wows and have met many wonderful Native Americans. This past summer I have been gifted the name "Dragonfly" by several of the Elders. I am honored and very touched by this."
"The Mohawk Trading Post is a Mom, Pop & Daughter company that began in the spring of 1985. Since the beginning we have done our best to provide items and materials, at reasonable prices, to keep and enhance the knowledge and enjoyment of America's Indian culture."
"The Center's mission is to be a positive place for peoples of all cultures to gather, share and educate one another. Essential to this endeavor is a program of cultural enrichment, education and whole life strategies for Native American people; a place to learn and teach our crafts, artwork, voices and traditional ways. We welcome the entire community to share in the various programs and cultural experiences which we offer."
